Amazing White Rock Beach House
Welcome to our executive home overlooking the beach & ocean. We are an easy walk to the beach, the ocean promenade walkway, restaurants, shopping & parks.
We are located in the East side of the City of White Rock, British Columbia close to the USA border.
Our home has two separate living quarters which can be combined for a larger party.
Upstairs executive home
The top two floors has a spacious gourmet kitchen/sitting area, TV room, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and is full of light. It has two furnished decks and a huge view of the ocean and islands.
The well-furnished ground floor has 2 bedrooms, a living room and a fully equipped kitchen and one walks out into a charming Italian style flagstone private garden.
The upstairs executive home offers:
– Two decks one with a huge ocean view, with patio furniture,
– Two large master bedrooms which frequently appeal to 2 couples,
– One has a fireplace, fabulous bathroom with shower and double soaker tub and deck,
-The other has a vaulted ceiling, a bar and a Juliet balcony,
-Third bedroom has a queen bed and furnishings,
– High end open concept kitchen with gas stove, stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, bar stools. It is perfect for entertaining as it includes a dining & sitting area.
– The gourmet cooks in your group will love the kitchen,
– Hardwood floors, a west coast art collection and 3 cozy fireplaces,
-Office with a large elegant desk, a quality chair and high speed internet,
-TV room with big screen tv, fireplace, DVD player & discs, board games and plenty of good books to cozy up with & enjoy,
-Huge laundry room with high end appliances,
-Stereo with great speakers, plenty of CD’s and -plug-in jack for your Iphone,
-Bose sound system with stackable CD slots & radio.

Location
A three minute drive to the Highway 99 to Richmond, Vancouver and the USA. Walking distance (8 minutes) or a 2 minute drive to the best beach in White Rock just below the Washington Avenue Grill. At low tide the beach stretches out for up to about two kilometres.
What you can do!
We are a quick drive to world class recreation and parks such as:
– White Rock ocean promenade (a 4.2 km out & back walk) – 2 minutes,
– Grandview Heights Aquatic Centre (an awesome near-new indoor pool, sauna, steam bath & exercise room) – 9 minutes,
– South Surrey Athletic Park (tennis & pickleball) – 9 minutes,
– White Rock’s Centennial Park for forest hikes – 7 minutes,
– Redwood Park (great hiking) – 11 minutes,
– Peace Arch Provincial Park (gardens & walking) – 5 minutes,
– Darts Hill Garden Park (gardens & walking) – 7 minutes,
– The Glades Woodlands Garden (gardens & walking) – 5 minutes.
We are even close to a few very enjoyable wineries in South Langley.
For example:
– Chaberton Estate Winery where groups can sit around picnic tables, eat their own picnic and drink a bottle of its excellent wine or have a gourmet meal & wine at its excellent restaurant – (16 Minutes away).
– Township 7 Vineyards and Winery (15 minutes),
– Glass House Estate Winery where one can dine well (18 minutes),
– and 6 other wineries in South Langley.
Near the wineries is an excellent and huge Metro Vancouver natural park called Campbell Valley Regional Park. Here one can do great walks and hikes on 33 km of trails and use its 3.9 km cycle path (11 minutes).
Further afield is a must-visit destination, the historic Fort Langley (38 minutes). The Fort is a a national historic site. It re-enacts the Hudson Bay Company’s fort which operated from 1839 to 1886. The nearby village is very charming with many interesting shops, bars and restaurants.
For golf lovers we have some excellent golf courses nearby.
We love these courses the most:
– The Hills at Portal Golf Course: a full & a par 3 course (7 minutes),
– Meridian: an excellent par 3 golf course (5 minutes),
– Hazelmere Golf & Tennis Club: golf & indoor tennis (6 minutes),
– Morgan Creek Golf Course (12 minutes),
– Northview Golf Club: 2 excellent courses (21 minutes) and
– Redwoods Golf Course: 35 minutes but a beautiful drive & course:
– Closed for the 2023 season due to pipeline construction.
– We also have Peace Arch Golf Centre driving range (5 minutes).
For tennis players:
We have many outdoor tennis courts and two indoor tennis clubs where one can reserve and rent a court for one to two hours.
The latter are:
– Hazelmere Tennis Club (6 minutes) and
– The Tennis Centre – Surrey (14 minutes).
We also have many excellent restaurants nearby.
Some of our favourites are very close:
– Washington Avenue Grill (which often has live music),
– Mexican Grill & Seafood and
– La Baia Italian Restaurant
These 3 are no more than a 3 minute drive away.
Further afield near the White Rock Pier we like:
– Five Kitchen & Oyster Bar,
– Charlie Don’t Surf,
-Uli’s Restaurant,
– Jan’s on the Beach,
-Cosmos Greek Restaurant,
– West Beach Bar & Grill often with live music and
– The Boathouse Restaurant.
-They are no more than a 5 minute drive away.
Another restaurant and bar area is uptown White Rock which is a 4 to 6 minute drive away. It has:
– Bin 101 Wine & Tapas Bar,
– Emilio Finatti Pizzeria,
– Five Corners Vietnamese Restaurant,
– The Wooden Spoon,
– Bánh Mì Très Bon, an excellent and stylish new Vietnamese restaurant,
– Tara’s Sushi and
– Many pubs and brew pubs, some of which have live music such as Sawbucks Neighbourhood pub (6 minutes).
For those who enjoy whale watching & sunset cruises:
We have White Rock Sea Tours Inc. that leave from Crescent Beach Marina (17 minutes). They use a high speed boat to take one around the US San Juan Islands and our Gulf Islands. There you will see, in season, Killer Whales (Orcas), Humpback, Grey and Minke Whales, Sea Lions, Harbour Porpoise, Seals and more.
White Rock is perfect for day trips.
To Vancouver, Bellingham and La Connor and overnight to Whistler. A bus connecting to the Skytrain Canada line to Vancouver is steps away. You can be in Vancouver stress free in less than an hour for very low fees. For what you save on gas and parking, treat yourself to a nice meal.
We also have some excellent art galleries nearby.
Our favourites are White Rock Gallery (5 minutes) and Art Couture (6 minutes).
For those who enjoy listening to live music:
We have performances by excellent artists at the intimate theatre called Blue Frog Studios. One must reserve seats on its website (5 minutes). We also have live music in several of our bars and pubs.
We have two libraries nearby that you could join. They are:
– The White Rock Library (4 minutes) and
– The Surrey Library (8 minutes).
If you like to attend movies, we have:
– Caprice Theatre nearby which shows 4 movies (7 minutes),
– Cineplex Theatre Strawberry Hills, a bigger multiplex theatrewith reclining seating (23 minutes),
– Landmark 12 Guildford (30 minutes) and
– Cineplex Langley (32 minutes).
Lastly, we have two live theaters:
– White Rock Players Club, a lovely community theatre (6 minutes) and
– The Bell Centre for the Performing Arts – 1,100 seats (16 minutes).

You will have a fantastic time in White Rock and its surrounding areas at your home away from home. So bring your clothes, golf clubs, tennis or pickleball racquets, walking shoes, flip flops and enjoy!

This is the Way to Go!!!
The total experience from start to finish did not disappoint! Being greeted with such hospitality by Linda and Chris upon arrival made us feel comfortable as soon as we walked in the door. The awesome ocean views from multiple decks, the colourful artwork, cozy beds in our themed rooms, and perfectly appointed kitchen made this a super deluxe. All in all, perfect decision!!
